These Are My Confessions

“An honest confession is good for the soul, but bad for the reputation”
- Thomas Dewar

1. I don't use Google Reader - never have and probably never will.

2. When I play Solitaire on my computer, every time I'm about to win I reset my stats so that - just for once - my win percentage will show 100%.

3. Sometimes I forget to feed Ida Claire breakfast*.

4. I don't like going to Macy's without my sister because she's my "designated scanner." Meaning she scans all clearance items to see if they've been further reduced. I'm just that lazy. And call me cheap if you want. I didn't see a problem saving $120 on my last purchase.

5. People who wear bluetooths annoy me. Probably because I never know who they're talking to when they talk out loud in a store or other public place/social setting.

6. Do y'all watch Cougar Town? First of all, love it! Second of all, I'm lusting after the chairs in Courteney Cox Arquette's character's house.
a. Also, have you noticed that after she got married she hyphenated her name for the purpose of the opening for FRIENDS, however she doesn't do so in the opening for Cougar Town?
b. Is it sad that I know this?

7. I always match my undergarments with my outfit.
a. As a side note to this, I called my "panties" my "unmentionables" until I was in high school because when I was little I heard them referred to that way in a movie and thought it was about the coolest thing I'd ever heard.

8. I have three pairs of earrings and a necklace from the dollar store.

9. Today I used the word "bazzinga**" in regular conversation.

10. I get excited over things like business cards and company email accounts. Always have, always will.

Your turn.....

*Before you unleash PETA's wrath upon me, I know a great many dogs who only get one meal a day. Ida Claire has never missed dinner and I can assure you she could really afford to lose a few pounds anyway. Thankyouverymuch.

**This is from the show "The Big Bang Theory." Just the fact that you're reading this footnote is entirely too sad because you should so already watch the show. It's sheer hilarity the entire time.

  1. Cute! I may have to do a post like this soon! Ditto on the bluetooth thing... half the time people look like they are talking to themselves! HA! Oh, and for the record, my dogs get fed once.a.day. No worries! :)

  3. I hope you feel better after getting thos confessions off your chest and out in to the wide open internet. I might need to do a little confession of my own...certainly cheaper and ultimately better therapy than a psychiatrist.

I don't use Google Reader either and agree about the bluetooth thing. I just want to run up and rip it out of their ear.

  6. I love this post! Bluetooths frustrate me like you wouldn't believe. A few years ago when I was out in the big, bad corporate world one of the sales guys in our office had his bluetooth on NONSTOP. You NEVER knew if he was talking to you/listening to you. Most annoying invention ever.

  8. THANK THE LORD THAT YOU ARE BACK!!!!

    1) I can't stand the bluetooth. I always have to ask my boss, "Are you on the phone?" since the times I haven't asked, he's actually been on the phone and I got me wittle feelings hurt because I thought I was being ignored in a big, bad way.

    2) I forget to feed Lucky and Lola all the time. They seem to do ok.

    3) Have I mentioned I'm glad you're back??
