Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery, Right?

The finest clothing made is a person's skin, but, of course, society demands something more than this. ~Mark Twain

Ok, so I love love love "outfit of the day" {OOTD?} posts. My favorites come from this fabulous fashion blogger.

Well, I'd been toying with the idea of doing this type of post when I was still "That Girl" & I just never could quite commit. Now I have a completely different job and I still wasn't able to commit for a very different reason - I don't ever dress up on this job. I'm a Nanny and I struggled for the first couple of months on what to wear that would be functional and fashionable at the same time. I almost didn't think it was possible. There was a time when I wore nothing but jeans or {gasp!} workout pants and t-shirts; that was a dark time for me. But I've found a happy medium in there somewhere{most days} and so I've decided that I should leave my commitment issues behind and begin with the "outfit of the day" {OOTD?} posts.

I'm also going to give you a disclaimer here. I rarely buy huge name brands. Like I said, I'm a NANNY - we don't get paid the big bucks it's been years since I could afford to do so anyway. But, I don't think that looking great requires me to spend $500 on a pair of shoes. So, with this in mind please don't judge me because I will cry. Also judge not, lest ye be judged or some crap like that.
